Goal & Learning Outcomes

The overall goal of this training is to help education professionals increase their understanding of neurodevelopment trauma and learn strategies and supports that address such needs in an early childhood educational setting.

Participants will:

  • Increase understanding of neurodevelopmental trauma, with a particular focus on neurodevelopment and the stress response system, within an early childhood population.
  • Learn trauma informed strategies and supports for an early childhood population.
  • Learn how to best structure an educational environment to support young children with neurodevelopment trauma histories.
  • Understand how to support staff and families to create an environment of resiliency around the children.
