Goal & Learning Outcomes

To assist educators to effectively use data to demonstrate the impact of their programs and initiatives.  

Participants will:

  • Understand a variety of approaches to, and effective uses of evaluation data
  • Identify optimal ways to present evaluation data (via reports, briefings, public presentations, etc.)
  • Effectively use evaluation data to demonstrate effects/impact

 

About the Presenter

Brad Rose is a Stanford University and Brandeis University trained applied sociologist who has more than 20 years of experience designing and conducting program evaluations for a range of clients in the non-profit, philanthropic, K-12 and higher education sectors. Dr. Rose has extensive experience assisting clients to ensure that they are utilizing data both to measure the impacts of their programming and to inform program refinement/strengthening. He brings the practical challenges involved in determining program effectiveness as extensive, experience-based knowledge of organization- and program-design, and a collaborative and inclusive approach to client engagements.
