Title:  Engaging Community and Agency Partners for Supporting Complex Trauma within the Educational Setting

 

The session will focus on community and agency partners describing the work and collaboration they are doing in the area of trauma, highlighting collaborative partnerships that are having an impact and making a difference in the area of trauma informed practices, and addressing trauma related issues raised by MAASE.

Participants will learn:

  • Current trauma related work that is occurring at state level agencies
  • Various ways that state level agency partners can assist schools with trauma focused work
  • Examples of collaborative implementation efforts between schools and agency partners related to student trauma
  • Locations and effective practices of partnerships that are demonstrating results land improving student outcomes in the area of trauma
