SLIP Winter Conference
Join us for the annual SLIP Winter Conference on January 13-14, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EST) at the Crowne Plaza Lansing West in Lansing, MI. This conference is designed to support the needs of supervisors overseeing low incidence programs and center-based programming. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights on key topics such as Essential Elements/Curriculum, Alternatives to Seclusion/Restraint, and Building Capacity in Staff. Throughout the two-day event, participants will learn from expert presenters, engage in discussions with peers, and have designated time to work on action items to apply in their programs. Supervisors are encouraged to bring their teams to maximize the learning experience.

Monitoring and Technical Assistance Conference
Join us for the Monitoring and Technical Assistance Conference 2025 hosted by the ISD Collaborative Community of Practice on May 8-9, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (EDT) at the Kingsley Hotel in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This conference is dedicated to supporting professionals involved in general supervision, monitoring, and technical assistance within the field of special education.
Over the course of the two-day event, attendees will engage in discussions and learning sessions that highlight the impactful work of ISDs across the state. Topics will include general supervision systems, special education data compliance, SPP indicators, and overall special education outcomes. This event is an invaluable opportunity to learn, network, and deepen knowledge on the essential components of special education monitoring and technical assistance.

Summer Institute
Join us for the Summer Institute 2025 from August 10-13, 2025 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Acme, MI. In line with MAASE's mission to provide "...opportunities for leadership development, collaboration, and advocacy...", this annual event brings together over 800 special educators to engage in leadership development and collaborate on critical topics in the field of special education.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various sessions designed to foster professional growth, discuss best practices, and connect with peers and experts in the field. This event is a key opportunity to stay informed, strengthen leadership skills, and build lasting relationships that support the ongoing improvement of special education services.

If you need to cancel your registration for a professional learning event, please contact Lindsey Zeller at lindseyzeller@maase.org at least seven (7) business days before the event to request a refund (as outlined in the MAASE Procedures Manual, Page 7, Section B, Item 1).
For multi-day events, the cancellation request must be submitted at least seven (7) business days before the event’s start date to qualify for a refund.
