Communities of Practice (CoP)
Take your professional learning experience to the next level! Developing Leaders occurs 5 times per year (day two of MAASE PL events) and uses an adaptation of EdCamp in which an open format is utilized for group members to share thoughts to help one another in the implementation of "real life" practice. Notes are taken to capture the information and resources shared by fellow MAASE members on the hot topic of the day. Participants will have the opportunity to select two topics that are the most relevant to their current work, one from 8:30-9:15 a.m. and one from 9:30-10:15 a.m. The notes generated from the time together reflect the thinking of someone in the group but do not represent MAASE. Anyone using this as a resource is encouraged to use their best judgment in interpreting the suggestions. Click the button below to access past Developing Leaders topics and related notes.
Developing Leaders
Committees are led by a committee chair or chairs who are appointed by the Board President to perform specific tasks, make decisions, or carry out certain functions within MAASE.
